HANWAG Paragliding Boots

Hanwag has been making high quality boots since 1921. They are Germany's leading outdoor wear bootmaker with a huge range from walking though to high alpine and of course paragliding boots. They are also very suitable for other airsports like sky diving, base jumping and hang gliding.

The SUPER FLY GTX model has been the #1 selling Paragliding boot in the world since the first model was released in 1992. HANWAG ceased production of the last SUPER FLY version in 2017 and Godfrey's Manilla Paragliding purchased all the stock that HANWAG had remaining. Taking over from it is the SKY GTX - a lighter weight version.

Godfrey's Manilla Paragliding has been the Australian importer for Hanwag paragliding boots since the beginning (1992).

The Hanwag SUPER FLY GTX paragliding and airsports boot offers great ankle support and has no eyelets that might catch lines during take-off. It is extremely comfortable, durable, waterproof, and with high breathability due to a Gore-tex lining. High quality purpose designed paragliding boots are proven to reduce the severity and incidence of ankle injuries. This model offers the maximum protection possible and is designed to be able to be re-soled thus ensuring a lifetime of use. It is in stock in Manilla in all sizes.

The Hanwag SKY GTX airsports boot is a lighter weight option to the SUPER FLY GTX. It offers great cushioning and comfort, breathable, and durably waterproof with a Gore-tex lining. The ankle protection is approximately 80% that of the SUPER FLY GTX model. Only some sizes are in stock - please contact Godfrey for an update.
